Snake Bite Bandage – Essential First Aid for Hiking, Trail Running & Outdoor Adventures
Be prepared. Stay safe. Explore with confidence.
When you're heading into the Australian outdoors, being prepared for unexpected situations is essential. A Snake Bite Bandage is an important addition to your first aid kit, whether you're trail running, hiking, bushwalking, camping or exploring remote areas.
Designed for use with the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (PIT), an appropriate elasticised pressure bandage can help slow the movement of venom through the lymphatic system following a suspected Australian snake bite.
Compact and practical to carry, a snake bite bandage belongs in your running vest, hiking backpack or outdoor first aid kit, particularly when exploring areas where snakes may be encountered.
Whether you're running through the Perth Hills, hiking the Bibbulmun Track or heading into remote Western Australian bushland, carrying essential first aid equipment is an important part of planning your adventure.
Because being prepared is just as important as reaching your destination.

-
Apply a suitable pressure immobilisation bandage firmly over the bitten limb, following current Australian first aid guidance.
-
