Underfoot, the updated Altra EGO™ MAX midsole delivers a soft, stable and responsive ride. The latest foam is 15% lighter and 10% softer than the previous version, helping reduce weight while maintaining the protection and cushioning needed for long trail days and ultra-distance running.

Grip comes from a Vibram® Megagrip outsole with TractionLug™ technology, providing dependable traction across wet, dry, rocky and technical surfaces.
